BIBI LENCEK : A RETROSPECTIVE
Bibi Lencek : A Retrospective
I had the opportunity to help produce and curate a living retrospective to honor the work of downtown feminist artist, Alice “Bibi” Lencek. Coordinating with a her family, we produced an exhibition highlighting some of her most arresting works, creating a social media presence, catalog, and connecting to gallerists, writers, and academic institutions.
The results were a fête that brought together people from Lancek’s life, past and present, allowing, once again for an artist ahead of her time to give us all a peek into her intriguing and prescient inner life.

FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB at 30 ROCK
Freemans Sporting Club at 30 Rock
The FSC team worked with Tishman Speyer to create a pop-up space at world renowned Rockefeller Center as part of their efforts to refresh their retail footprint.
Within a tight budget and limited time, I, along with Creative Director Nikko Lencek- Inagaki put together a team to design and merchandise the space, bringing the feeling of Freemans famed downtown store uptown, while adapting and updating it to feel fresh for a new audience.

FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB AW20 PRESENTATION
NYFW (MENS) AW20
For FSC’s AW20 presentation during NYFW (Mens) I assisted in overseeing the casting, production and styling. Alongside the Creative Director I helped conceptualize a show that incorporated ideas relating to the “Late 60’s/Early 70's” which were themes of the collection. Inspired by McCann - Erickson’s iconic 1971 “I’d like to buy the world a Coke” TV commercial, we recreated the Italian countryside setting using a large-scale backdrop and 50 yards of real sod. Models and guests were given customized Coca Cola bottles with “Freemans Sporting Club” printed on them as a nod to the original concept.

FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB SS20 PRESENTATION
NYFW (MENS) SS20
Freeman Sporting Club’s SS20 menswear presentation coincided with the reopening of their Lower East Side flagship. Working with the Creative Director and PR team we opted to stage a presentation in the store, transforming corners into theatrical vignettes that highlighted the themes of the collection. A hotel desk, a bar, a beach, and a lounge were all recreated with models acting as patrons and staff to impart a feelings of cool and refined traveler.
